Discovering the Ancient Incan Road
This old Road was constructed by the powerful Inca Empire that, while expanding its domains to the north, conquered and assimilated many indigenous cultures that populated what is now Ecuador. It was built in the XV century and its main propose was to connect the cities of the empire with the troops engaged in the wars at the north. Not much of the Incan architecture is left, but the actual tracing of the road is still there.

Ecuador Trekking Northern Andes 4D-3N
A wonderful trekking program through the moorlands, lakes and main mountains in Northern Ecuador.

Exploring the heart of the Avenue of the Volcanoes
As the famous cordillera of the Andes enters our country, Ecuador, they are greeted by a series of underground magma chambers, which have converted all of our high peaks into Volcanoes, many of which are still active or erupting. Our adventure program takes place in the heart of this geographical coincidence at the area of the world highest active Volcano: Cotopaxi, an icon of beauty, nature and tourism in Ecuador. This cone shaped mountain reaches a height of 5897 meters above sea level, most of it covered by snow and glaciers. We will ride our horses in the neighboring Volcanoes, Rumiñahui and Sincholagua, cross the Cotopaxi National Park on our bikes, and hike in one of Ecuador´s most valuable natural treasures: Quilotoa Lake. This multisport program will let you enjoy the unique fauna and flora of the highlands of Ecuador while testing your well developed skills.

Horseback ride in the Ecuadorian Andes
This wonderful adventure will take us on horseback through amazing and varied landscapes in this unique territory which was named by Alexander von Humboldt as “the Avenue of the Volcanoes. We will spend our nights at colonial haciendas, pass by snow capped volcanoes, reach heights over 13500 feet, see the northern star and Southern Cross at the same starry night and learn about the secrets of this ancient cordillera that was considered to be sacred by the natives. During the whole of our journey we will be accompanied by real “chagras”, name given to the Andean cowboys. These people were “born on a horse” and know all about riding in this difficult terrain. They will show us all their tricks and share their hard earned knowledge of these mythical mountains.

Multi sport adventure in the cloud forest
This adventure takes place in a very special region, home of the world´s greatest biodiversity and characterized by its breathtaking landscapes and beautiful mountains. This is the spot where the Andes start descending into the Pacific Ocean and is considered to be the area with more bird species per square mile on earth. Our route will take us through the different ecosystems that compose these volcanoes, starting at 13120 feet above sea level, in the Yanacocha high mountain cloud forest and bird reserve, to finish at the jungles of the Valley of Mindo at 4600 feet above sea level. We will explore this fantastical destination in many different ways, biking through dirt roads constructed by millenary cultures which inhabited this place before the Incas, canopying above the trees of the cloud forest, rafting in rivers encased by amazing canyons or hiking through primary forests full of wildlife. All of this while staying at first class lodges adapted for these environments and specialized for this type of adventure.

The sacred summits of the Incas
This is a very enjoyable but demanding, breath taking, high altitude adventure for trained hearts and strong wills. Those who will dare to see the domains of the Inca and other ancient cultures from a point of view reserved only to the gods (old Incan legend) will have the opportunity to prove themselves by climbing 3 of the most beautiful volcanoes of Ecuador before challenging the highest active volcano on our planet: Cotopaxi. This enigmatic cone shaped mountain, whose name means neck of the moon in a language used prior to the Incas´ arrival, amazed the famous explorer Alexander Von Humboldt, who deemed it to be impossible to climb.
This program will let you get acquainted to the heights and terrain of the Andean volcanoes as you start with the easiest one, Guagua Pichincha, to than tackle the North Iliniza and try your physical condition at the steep peak of the Sincholagua as a preparation for a worthy goal, the summit of the Cotopaxi.
