This is an active adventure with early mornings and full days of varied activities. General fitness and mobility are required to fully enjoy the experience. Our guides will provide instruction, but participation may be limited if minimum ability levels are not met.
Activities include:
Hiking: Mainland and island hikes, some over rough and uneven terrain, with trails sometimes crossing lava fields or slippery rocks.
Elevation Considerations
The first two nights are spent in Quito at an altitude of 9,400 feet, which may cause altitude-sickness symptoms like headaches, dizziness, and nausea. We recommend hydrating and resting to manage these effects. Consult your doctor if you’re concerned about altitude sickness and would like to bring medication.
Custom or Private Departures
For private or smaller group trips, we provide a tailored experience based on your group size. Depending on the number of passengers, we will assign either 1 or 2 guides to ensure the best experience.
