My husband and I went on an 8 day cruise aboard the Nemo II and had the most fantastic time thanks to the amazing captain and crew and our fantastic guide, Jairo. Out of several options, we chose the Nemo II being a catamaran with more stability and a smaller group passenger size. If you are prone to seasickness, it doesn't matter what kind of ship you are on so I recommend either getting a motion sickness prescription, over the counter meds, or both (some nights I needed both)! But speaking to the Nemo, they had motion sickness meds on hand if anyone needed them! But overall I am glad we splurged a little on our budget and went with the Nemo II as it was truly the perfect vehicle for an unforgettable trip!

I will start by saying we had a fantastic trip- the excursions were amazing, the food delicious, our guide and crew outstanding. That being said, this is not for everyone.

I loved the Nemo 2. First - the crew were terrific. They took very good care of us and kept us safe. The food was good and plentiful (some fish was superb, some a little overcooked for me). The fresh juice every morning and every time we boarded after snorkeling or a land outing was a highlight. Our gang did not drink much alcohol, but the beer and wine we had were good. All of the crew were great - Johnny, Carlos, Milton, Diego, Pedro and Estavan (?) the chef. Our guide was "Tonio" and he was fun to be around.

We had a fantastic trip aboard the Nemo II on a 5 day (too short!) southern island cruise. The catamaran was spacious, clean and comfortable.

It was a truly wonderful experience on the Nemo II.
The organization was impeccable, they even gave them sea sickness pills, we saw practically all the animals in the Galapagos with the 8 day South cruise. Between snorkeling and walking, the landscape and the climate have always been fantastic, the guide (Jimi Patino) was impeccable, the food (I speak as an Italian) more than good. In short, it was exactly the experience I wanted to have to see the Galapagos, every day it was possible to see a different species and swimming with the sea lions as well as seeing the giant tortoises was magical.
I recommend the experience to those who want to take a not too relaxing holiday, bring sunscreen and shoes suitable for trekking.
We booked with Expedition Ecuador, but it's possible also directly from Nemo.

Last weekend my husband and I came off the 8 day North on Nemo II with our naturalist Darwin (he’s fantastic and free dives 30 ft+ helping to spot sea life, so ask for cruises with him!). We had a 12 on the first 4 days and had a full complement of 16 on the last 5 (if you hadn’t figured out you can book first or second half separately). We saw 14 of the big 15 animals - and we didn’t expect to see the Albatross at our locations this time of year- and all, multiple times, including the Galapagos hawk. I taught Darwin the expression “shooting fish in a barrel” because while this applied to the amount of tropical fish, we had the same intensity of experience with the boobies, frigates, tortoises, marine iguanas and sea lions on at least one occasion.

We booked via Andean Trails travel agency in the UK, whose service was excellent. The helpful Kat suggested this cruise given our criteria of a week long itinerary of walking and snorkelling; taking in the southern and eastern islands including Espanola; a small boat (Nemo II takes 14 passengers maximum); good standard accommodation; meeting dietary requirements (vegetarian and gluten-free for one of us). The all-in price was reasonable and included flights from Quito (ie basically everything except the $100pp park entrance fee, alcohol and tips). Bear in mind a cruise is probably the best way to experience the Galapagos and it is an expensive place to visit.

We were aboard the Nemo II for 7 days, including thanksgiving. We went directly from the airport to the boat. We had hiking and snorkeling excursions every day. Our dietary restrictions were taken care of, that really means a lot to us. The water was chilly but it was worth it. The staff is courteous and professional. Both English and Spanish are spoken on board- whatever you are comfortable with. I recommend the 7 days because there is so much to see and because it takes an effort to get there.

Everything was absolutely fantastic, the crew was really wonderful. A special thanks to Tonio our naturalist guide who was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Also the chef was absolutely wonderful, all meals were delicious and very healthy, the perfect combination. We traveled with our teenage daughter and the friendly atmosphere of the crew really made a difference.

A fantastic experience aboard Nemo III catamaran! We spent 7 days sailing to islands, immersed in the beauty that is the Galapagos Islands. Captain and crew of Nemo III were dedicated to us having the best cruise. Cabin 3 was huge with plenty of storage for clothes, gear, backpacks. Fantastic having ensuite bathroom. Chef prepared wonderful meals (3X each day!!!) that showcased Ecuador flavors. I would buy his cookbook of meals served on Nemo III. Plenty of space to spread out, lounge, and enjoy our environment of sea and islands. I can not say enough good things about the crew of Nemo III. Everyone of them went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and safe. A 5++ star experience.

We were on a custom cruise with 14 people on the Nemo lll for a week. We can't say enough about the friendly and attentive crew. Our chef, Gino, made amazing meals, including vegetarians options, in a small kitchen. We loved the tree tomato juice available after snorkeling trips. Our US guide and Darwin our naturalist, worked with the panga drivers to find white-tipped sharks and rays.

Welcome aboard the Nemo III, in the Galápagos Islands. Swam with Sea Lions, turtles, sharks, penguins, marine iguanas, rays, cormorants, and pelicans. Walked the same paths with tortoises, Giant Galápagos Tortoise, land iguanas, and lava lizards. Saw Red and Blue Footed Boobies, and many more birds. Watched whales and flying fish. Enjoyed dolphins putting on a jumping show and chasing the Nemo’s bow. Watched many sunsets, some sun rises, rainbows and lava eruptions. Made wonderful new friends, had zero internet, and immersed myself in a pristine ecosystem. My guide Jairo was professional, kind, funny and knowledgeable. The crew worked 24/7 to insure a fantastic trip. The boat is beautiful and spacious. Food yummy, get ready to pack on some weight. Only criticism is the boat is under engine power at night and can for some disturb your sleep with noise.

Went on a 7 night cruise with my dad on the Nemo 3. The days were packed with activities and exciting. The rooms were cozy with lots of storage. The meals were excellent and the variety was impressive. Our guide Gairo and the crew were helpful and professional. We loved this cruise! So much fun and great memories.

My husband and I and our four teenage boys did an 8-day cruise in December of 2019 on the Nemo 2, the North Itinerary. The captain and crew was attentive to every detail and our Naturalist Guide, Tonio, was very knowledgable and patient. The boat was very comfortable. I can't imagine any better way to discover the magical place that is the Galapagos Islands.
